Taking on new challenges, with a bit of greenery

You get to that point in your career, where before you know it, you're the one people come to when they want things done.

Lately, I've been taking on more than I felt I could manage, this has made me a little bit ill, and left me lacking any enthusiasm. So, when new challenges were presented, instead of taking them as  something to move me on and savour, I have kind of looked at them with hesitancy and through the corner of my eye. 'I don't get paid to do that.'

Then, as I found some space and time to just calm down, stress less, I realised that these new opportunities weren't necessarily another commitment, but another string to my bow. Another way to make me better at my job, and as usual improve my shocking time management and self-discipline.

I don't think that it's about taking every single challenge and suggestion that comes your way, but it is about picking and choosing what's important, what matters and what is of value to you.

The last thing I want to do is resent my work.

A great way to create a stress-free environment- plants. Here are some of my FAVOURITE ideas.
