I watched Mr Selfridge on recommendation from a dear friend of mine. I have to say that I was thoroughly captivated. The characters and acting from the lead role is really well executed. They made me want to go back in time to work there.
The second season, compelling, but more tragic. I finished watching it with more sorrow than the up lifting feeling I had left the first season with. That is entirely due to the circumstances in which the series is set and the life of Harry Selfridge.
Waiting in anticipation for the next season- hopefully Jan 2015.
