What a beauty. This book took me straight back to adolescence and flung me right back into those feelings of first love and all the angst that goes with it.
The descriptions of the characters leave you feeling like you truly know them, and quickly too. It isn't just their relationship either. It's the familial ones and the relationships with themselves. Eleanor is the best female character I have read for a while, but Park did take a bit of a backseat for me, maybe that was the point? A few geeky music/star wars/trek/comic references never go amiss either.
A truly heart-warming and heart-wrenching tale.
